Policy for Services

Hosting period is for one year, starting on the
day the order is placed.

Renewal of hosting is $86.00 for each year after the initial year.

We do no offer any domain name registration
related services as 02/26/07. We can however advise you on how the process works if you get stuck on ordering or transferring a domain name.

NotaryWebSites.com is not responsible or does not provide technical troubleshooting for your personal computer issues. We will of course support anything in relation to the websites that we host. If you are having issues with your personal computer please consult with a local professional to resolve any issues in relation to your personal computer difficulties.

For domain name related registration, renewal or other unlisted issues please consult with your domain name registrar (i.e. godaddy.com, networksolutions.com, or another registrar of your choice.)

Minor updates to sites are currently being offered as part of the packages being sold. Changes that are not considered minor are subject to additional charges. Minor change examples: Change of telephone, fax, email address within text on webpage. Minor text modifications that would be considered minor. Changes considered non minor are: page additions, custom programming, custom graphics, graphic/photo modifications, resizing, colorings, elaborate text editing, features or functions not contained or provided within website package.

Selection of design for website project is each customers decision at the time of purchase. Selection of another site design after project has begun is subject to $50.00 change over fee. This is to absorb the cost of time to change over your site to the newly selected design. Example you purchase design number 100, and then decide you would rather go with another design for your project. Say 142. You would be billed fro the change over to another design. This fee is only charged if work on your site has begun.

Text for each project is the responsibility of each client.

Email accounts that are used for spamming
will be terminated and subject to no refund for any fees paid to NWS. Email accounts that are suspected or reported to agencies such as SPEWS may be banned from operating on the internet. This is an organization that blocks domains that spam via email. We are not responsible should your domain be reported for spamming activity and should this occur as a result of email spamming from any account within your domain or hosted with NotaryWebSites.com any and all actions against your domain are not our responsibility, but the responsibility for the individual  client that owns the domain name.

We shall do our best to help you with email account settings, but are unable to do drastic troubleshooting on individual computers beyond the normal scope of providing the settings as they are created.

Fees for domain name registration, and hosting fees are
non refundable.

SEO Marketing to search engines is not included as a standard option, but is available to those that are interested in purchasing this option. Pricing is customized per client as the needs of clients vary. This includes any meta tags or other related SEO coding or modifications.

Projects not completed due to client not providing adequate information: text, design direction or instructions for us to create the site in a timely manner is solely the customers responsibility. Website hosting starts the date of payment. Expiration of account is one year from date of order unless account renewed.

Email accounts should be checked at least every
other day and messages removed (downloaded) from our servers each time mail is checked. A mail reader such as Outlook or Outlook Express should be used to download mail to your local system. EWS is not responsible for any mail lost or misdirected or loss of business etc as a result of such actions.

NWS is not responsible for transferring information to anyone other than the owner of the site. A $20.00 fee will be charged for a zip file containing all website files to the owner of the site for cancelled accounts. This fee must be paid before transfer will be processed. Transfer of control of domain names must be made in writing and emailed to NWS. We do not provide login information for our servers as maintenance of each site is provided with each package. If you wish to control the design of your site, you have the option of hosting  with another firm. NWS takes no responsibly to publish websites to any other location other than our servers, or for troubleshooting coding or other elements of any site.

Domain name and hosting account changes are subject to a $25.00 fee for account change overs. Accounts that fail to renew prior to expiration date shall be subject to a $25.00-$75.00 restoration fee(s).

Registrar domain name restoral fees may apply. In the past we have seen some of these fees as high as $350. This is not paid to us, but the domain name registrar. Avoidance of domain related fees and loss of domain name is possible by renewing services: hosting, domain name etc 30 days before expiration date.

We are not responsible for any loss of domain name, business or revenue as a result of non renewal within the allocated time frame of 30 days prior to expiration of hosting or domain name. We would expect renewals for domain names to be paid for 30 days prior to expiration of related domain names. Contact information to include email address information should be kept current and provided to notarywebsites.com so that we may contact you should there be a relevant issue. As a courtesy we shall send out a reminder around 30 days prior to your account expiration.

We are not responsible for the inability to contact
you for renewal and other related reasons for attempting to contact you. If you change your email address, please provide us an email letting us know so we may contact
you regarding your website should there be a need.

Support options and services shall not be offered for accounts not hosted with NotaryWebSites.com.
